Position Summary
This on-site role will be responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to enhance image, engagement and outreach for the Bella Vista Property Owners Association (POA). This involves management, oversight and support for all internal and external marketing, promotion, and communication programs, as well as the development and implementation of short-term and long-term marketing and communication goals that align with the needs of the business. Under the direction of the CEO, the Marketing and Communications Manager, in collaboration with other senior leaders, will develop plans that ensure clear, consistent and effective communication and marketing for the organization. Given the size of the BVPOA, this position must have the flexibility to lead and successfully execute all aspects of the marketing and communications plans to a diverse demographic.
Requirements, Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop innovative communication and marketing strategy to increase amenity usage and revenue and to attract new members
- Produce and manage all print and electronic communications, including photography and video content, to members of Bella Vista to enhance and maintain a favorable public perception
- Position the Association as the most credible and knowledgeable resource of information regarding its actions, policies and programs
- Administration of the department (e.g., budget, payroll, paying invoices, answering informational member emails, project management, prioritizing responsibilities)
- Display original thinking and creativity; develop innovative approaches and ideas; present ideas and information in a manner that gets others’ attention
- Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of news, events and updates to property owners
- Establishes and maintains positive and professional business relations with internal and external clients, Member volunteers and groups; keeps Bella Vista top-of-mind within the Northwest Arkansas area
- Monitor and analyze communication metrics and provide regular reports and recommendations to leadership based on data insights.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Ten years of marketing and communications experience, preferably in a senior management role
- Extensive customer service, communication and advertising experience
- Demonstrated industry knowledge
- Bachelor’s Degree from a Four-year college or university in a related field
- Strong Communication, excellent written skills
- Leadership capabilities
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position currently supervises a staff of six. Incumbent carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
