The Salesforce Administrator manages and optimizes JCC Salesforce systems to meet organizational needs, including user management, data integrity, and system configuration. Reporting directly to the Chief Communications Officer (CCO), this role serves as a subject matter expert for user and team needs, works directly with 3rd party vendors to manage the platform, and may be expected to be on-call to handle Salesforce emergencies.
Following a six-month in-person training period, this position offers the flexibility to work remotely up to 40% of the time (2 days a week).
The starting salary for this position begins at $48,500.00, with the mid-range typically landing around $54,320.00, depending on experience skills, and qualifications. We value transparency and aim to ensure our compensation is competitive and aligned with your unique contributions to our team.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Data management – Oversee the JCC’s Salesforce platform to ensure data integrity, including class/program data, contact data, donor data, and membership sales data.
- Communication - Collaborate with program leaders to find solutions using the Salesforce platform and provide relevant training to JCC staff. Must actively promote and practice the organization’s Positive Rules of Communication.
- Problem solving – Partner with agency leaders to solve business problems using the Salesforce platform.
- Data analysis - Provide reporting on a regular basis to help agency leaders gain insights and make decisions from Salesforce data.
- Customer service – Provide support for JCC Members and program participants interacting with the community portal.
- Process automation - Create, maintain, and enhance automated business processes.
- Collaboration with creatives – Partner with marketing team to create human-centered user experiences in Salesforce.
- Project management - Plan and oversee Salesforce projects to ensure they’re completed on time and within budget.
- Security management – Partner with JCC IT Team to manage and protect customer and business data.
- Staff trainings sessions - Lead staff training sessions and onboard new employees to the Salesforce platform.
- Serve as a Manager-on-duty (MOD) - Shifts assigned throughout the year.
- Other duties - Perform other duties and assume additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications

- Previous experience with Salesforce CRM and/or similar applications required
- Experience with NPSP and/or Traction Rec platform a plus, but not required
- Demonstrated work in process improvement practices and software implementation is preferred
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize
- Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Education And/or Experience
- Salesforce Administrator certification preferred
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, business analysis, business administration or equivalent relevant experience will also be considered
- Minimum of two years of previous Salesforce administrative work.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This position requires availability, on short notice and outside normal working hours. The majority of the hours will happen Monday through Friday during traditional business hours. This position must also be available for nights and weekends. Schedule will be adjusted as needed to accommodate non-traditional business hours.
