The salary range for this role is $65,000-$75,000.
You will be responsible for working as part of the JUF marketing team to ensure smooth and strategic planning for JUF events and programs, creating and producing content for integrated marketing communications, and working with colleagues across the organization to implement successful marketing initiatives for their events and projects. You will be an advocate for our internal process and clearly communicate in a timely manner within our project management system.
What you’ll be doing:
- Serve as a marketing project lead, partnering with other departments to develop strategy, content and ensure smooth account management around events and programs.
- Craft marketing strategy to successfully complete projects – Constantly assess existing and future opportunities, gauge aptitude for risk, and own success metrics.
- Collaborate with design team and other departments to ensure delivery of great work – Ensure all information is shared when kicking off a project and remain involved throughout by providing strategy, insight, and direction.
- Understand project and business goals – Track results and build a comprehensive knowledge base for the organization.
- Manage departmental resources with profitability and efficiency – Ask the right questions to guide the project, scope projects appropriately, and make projects run efficiently.
- Relationship management – Create and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues across the organization and heighten trust for the marketing department and its internal experts.
- Be a champion for our department’s process and project management software to ensure projects stay within scope and communication is clear
- Create and develop marketing strategy for organizational projects including but not limited to solicitations, digital marketing, brand awareness campaigns, media planning
- Responsible for writing creative briefs that are strategic, descriptive and inspiring.
- Edit and develop content for institutional messaging and outreach including emails, invitations, social media, and other integrated marketing materials.
- Identify, evaluate and select opportunities to improve existing processes, communications or projects
- Timely, consistent and thoughtful communication to colleagues, particularly within the project management system
- Help ensure the articulation of the JUF brand story across multiple media.
- Support JUF Campaign and mandatory campaign-related activities on an ongoing basis.
What you need to succeed (qualifications/required skills needed):
- A degree from an accredited institution with a major in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field, required
- 5-7 years’ experience in Marketing Communications at a corporation, agency, or non-profit
- Knowledge of Jewish issues and Israel preferred
- Persuasive written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Hive (or similar project management software) is preferred
- Team player attitude; works at a stimulating pace
