Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with various tasks during daily operations, events, and functions while maintaining a clean and safe facility.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- Assist with the opening and closing of JCC buildings while upholding any necessary safety precautions throughout shift.
- Prepare room setups and breakdowns as outlined in the daily schedule.
- J event representative, reporting to supervisor, assist prior, during, and after events assuming the roll of Facility Contact as needed or when assigned.
- Respond to a wide variety of facility/guest/staff requests with understanding and care.
- Accountable for daily Meals on Wheels cooler collection and cleaning, as well as mail drop off and large package delivery.
Other Duties
- Share shift information with coworkers and superiors as needed.
- Assist other departments when necessary and as directed by supervisor.
- Execute work orders and projects assigned.
- Use of J vehicles for order pickup or deliveries.
Qualifications
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in English, additional languages a plus.
- Able to give accurate and detailed information to guests, co-workers, and management as needed.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Work independently without supervision.
- Hands-on experience with event setups and breakdowns a plus.
- AV, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, BRIVO knowledge a plus.
- Capable of performing minimal maintenance or assembly with hand or power tools a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
