Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Preferred hybrid in Dundee, MI. Remote flexibility available for highly qualified candidates based in the Midwest or Southeast. Remote candidates should expect occasional travel to the Dundee location.
Travel: Approximately 25% travel throughout the Midwest and Southeast United States.
Duration: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $105,000 – $110,000 base + 12–20% annual bonus

What You’ll Do:
- Lead capital projects from inception to completion, including design, procurement, contractor management, and site execution.
- Scope and manage terminal infrastructure upgrades (e.g., silos, dust collectors, control systems, etc.).
- Conduct site assessments, safety walks, and interface with Health & Safety teams to ensure safe and compliant execution.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, transportation, logistics) and external vendors to define project requirements.
- Develop bid packages, lead contractor selection, and manage project forecasting and invoice processing in SAP.
- Use MS Project and other tools to manage timelines, documentation, and technical designs.
- Represent projects in front of local governments and regulatory bodies.
- Prepare and deliver business cases (e.g., lease vs. buy) to support capital investments.
- Coach and mentor junior PMs during onboarding and project ramp-up.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering field required.
- 5–10 years of experience in capital project management, ideally in plant construction, logistics, or infrastructure.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems; tools such as MS Project, AutoCAD, and Smartsheet.
- Willingness to travel ~25%, especially at project kickoff or for safety/site checks.
- Experience managing large-scale site modernization projects, including work with rail, barge, marine terminals, or similar infrastructure.
- Previous exposure to CAPEX planning, forecasting, and budget management.
- Must meet PPE requirements and pass a respirator fit test.
- Strong command of safety protocols and construction best practices.
- Ability to mentor others and collaborate without direct authority.
- Comfortable working in a matrixed, cross-functional environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
