About Claremont Hillel
Claremont Hillel is the hub of Jewish life for students across the Claremont Colleges.
We serve a vibrant and diverse community of students from all five undergraduate campuses, offering a welcoming space to explore Jewish identity, celebrate tradition, and build lasting connections. Whether students arrive deeply rooted in Jewish life or are just beginning to explore it, Claremont Hillel meets them where they are—with warmth, curiosity, and a spirit of inclusion.
Through Shabbat and holiday celebrations, cultural and educational programs, leadership development, and campus advocacy, we empower Jewish students to take ownership of their Jewish journey. Our work also includes partnerships with parents, alumni, faculty, and community members who share a commitment to ensuring that Jewish students are supported and seen.
Claremont Hillel is affiliated with Hillel International, which enriches the lives of Jewish students so they may enrich the Jewish people and the world. Together, we envision a future where every student is inspired to make an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning, and Israel.
