- Position Title: ElevatEd Early Childhood Educator Recruiter Location: Remote Reports To: Executive Director, ElevatEd About ElevatEd: ElevatEd is an innovative initiative designed to revolutionize early childhood Jewish education (ECJE) by recruiting, training, mentoring, and supporting over 700 new teachers in pioneering communities across North America. This visionary pilot project is a collaborative effort by the Jewish Community Centers Association of North America (JCC Association), Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), and the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ). The pilot phase is expected to run through June 2028. Position Overview: The ElevatEd Recruiter will lead hands-on recruitment efforts across multiple ElevatEd communities. This full-time, remote role combines national strategy with local action--traveling to communities, partnering with local workforce development organizations, and directly supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of early childhood educators in Jewish early childhood centers in ElevatEd communities. This role is perfect for a dynamic individual who can both actively recruit throughout ElevatEd communities and support early childhood directors in their individualized recruitment processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit educators throughout ElevatEd communities through leveraging community partners, workforce development organizations, and sourcing candidates through social media platforms.
- Actively support early childhood directors through the hiring process, offering hands-on guidance to fill open roles quickly and effectively.
- Teach and model innovative recruitment practices.
- Build talent pipeline through partnerships with local workforce development organizations.
- Create and nurture local partnerships with organizations such as camps, Hillels, senior living facilities, universities, and more to widen recruitment pipelines.
- Recognize local and national trends to elevate systemic issues for wider support or strategic response from the ElevatEd national team.
- Collaborate with local ElevatEd partners to amplify local efforts, helping communities maximize the program's resources.

- Proven self-starter with experience in recruitment, workforce development, or talent acquisition.
- Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence--able to hold relationships with care and clarity.
- Ability to teach and facilitate learning for adults.
- Deep understanding of, or connection to, the Jewish communal landscape and its diversity.
- Familiarity with state workforce requirements, licensure expectations, and early childhood regulations.
- Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience working in startup environments or pilot programs.
