Job Title: Assistant Manager at JCC Association of North America

JCC Association of North America is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our dynamic and innovative team. As the Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and development of our organization and its member JCCs across North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to support the overall goals of JCC Association
- Assist in managing relationships with our member JCCs, providing support and guidance as needed
- Coordinate and facilitate training and professional development opportunities for JCC staff and volunteers
- Help manage and support the JCC Association's national and regional conferences and events
- Research and identify potential funding opportunities and assist with grant writing
- Compile and analyze data related to membership, programming, and financials to inform decision-making
- Collaborate with the Manager to oversee the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives
- Support the recruitment and retention of JCC Association members
- Assist in developing and maintaining partnerships and collaborations with other organizations and stakeholders
- Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation related to JCC Association activities
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as business administration, nonprofit management, or community development)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project or program management, preferably in a nonprofit or community-based organization
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to different audiences
- Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with database management
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Passion for and understanding of the mission and values of JCC Association and its member JCCs
