Our member and guest services team is essential to the Bender JCC, providing a warm, welcoming environment for anyone who steps through our doors. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with our community and have a significant impact on the experience of members and guests.
We currently have part time openings for this position and are looking for candidates with weekend availability.
Core Responsibilities
- At the front desk, meet and greet members, guests, and employees cheerfully and professionally.
- Effectively communicate with members and guests in person, by email, and on the telephone.
- Process transactions for members and guests.
- Enter, verify and maintain data utilizing a name brand CRM application.
- Perform clerical tasks (answering telephone, scanning/uploading documents).
- Assist with program registrations.
- Complete other tasks as directed by the Member & Guest Services Director.
- Provide sales information, in absence of Member Sales Associate.

You Should Have
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- At least two years relevant customer / hospitality / guest service experience with superior communications and people skills.
- Strong computer skills, with the ability to learn new programs.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and data entry using CRM software.
- Software analytic and basic math skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem solving and decision making skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Reliable transportation.
- Access to a smart device for work-schedule and updates.
Additional Information
This is a part-time, non-exempt position, with a rate of $16 per hour. Benefits may include 403b, FSA, Paid Time Off (PTO), and a flexible working environment. You’ll also receive a free membership to the Bender JCC, including complete access to the entire fitness facility and pools, plus staff discounts on programs and services.
