PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Associate Director, Strategic Initiatives will support strategic initiatives focused on countering antisemitism and extremism, contribute to organization-wide strategic planning, implementation, and impact measurement, and help promote a culture of evidence-based decision-making and innovation. The Associate Director is results-oriented and a strategic thinker with experience generating data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

Primary:

Support the development and execution of high-priority strategic initiatives to counter antisemitism, extremism, and hate
Support strategic planning and assist in enhancing impact measurement across ADL, including both qualitative and quantitative metrics
Conduct research and analysis to produce actionable insights and inform strategic decisions
Support digital transformation initiatives and contribute to the creation of digital-first approaches to counter antisemitism and extremism
Assist in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies and digital tools to enhance efficiency and impact
Contribute to the development of clear, consistent, and compelling communication materials for various audiences
Assist in fostering a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making
Help manage change and adoption of new digital processes across the organization

Qualifications

Skills:

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in creating impactful presentations and synthesizing complex information into clear, visually appealing formats
Robust analytical skills to analyze data and identify trends to inform data-driven decisions
Ability to troubleshoot issues, anticipate challenges, and devise effective solutions
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple workstreams, and adapting to changing circumstances
Interest in exploring and leveraging new technologies to enhance efficiency and impact
Team player with willingness to play multiple positions as needed
Some knowledge of antisemitism preferred

Work Experience:

Several years’ professional experience in strategy, consulting, or related fields able to demonstrate solid data analysis skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

Work Environment:

ADL is a hybrid environment; this role may require 3 days in the office per week.

Compensation:

This position has a salary range of $54,000 to $90,000. Please note that actual salaries are commensurate with experience and reflect the budget for a given position, and since ADL has a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
