POSITION SUMMARY:
The Database Specialist supports the daily operation of data management and analysis at Jewish Family Service. In addition, the Database Specialist will aid and assist system users with various agency programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform a variety of database tasks and assist with various data requests.
- Serves as an assistant to the administrator in maintaining internal databases including but not limited to: “Efforts to Outcomes” (ETO), Salesforce, QuestionPro, Formstack, OpenPM and Lucid.
- Assists Data Manager with:
- Training, data entry, coordination, and development as it relates to the systems
- Ensuring compliance with various audits
- Preparing documents and reports for funding sources (i.e. itemized grant utilization, spending by client, number of clients served) for United Way, Foundation, Jewish Home, Alzheimer’s Association, Federation, and other funders
- Billing process for AgeWell Cincinnati Concierge, including interacting with clients, invoice generation, and processing of payments.
- Volunteer management processes, including entering data into Salesforce and generating reports
- Perform other duties as assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of an Associate's Degree Two years of prior experience working in a database, and a willingness to learn various JFS systems
- Computer skills which include Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) knowledge of Salesforce preferred
- Ability to collaborate, take direction/instruction
- Ability to work with a diverse population
- Ability to work independently and to take initiative
- Clear and precise in both spoken and written communication with strong attention to detail
- Able to handle confidential material with discretion
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Computer skills which include Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) knowledge of Salesforce preferred
- Detail oriented and ability to perform quality control assessments to maintain the integrity of the databases
- This job requires professionalism, critical thinking, a team player, a positive attitude and a proven ability to work with strict deadlines, interruptions, and unexpected situations. A willingness to be flexible
