Job Description: The Facilities Manager is responsible for the management and supervision of the 77,000 sq. ft facility, which includes the CSJCC -fitness center, the Sherwin Miller of Jewish Art Museum, and the Jewish Federation of Tulsa. The Facility Manager has oversight on capital projects, coordinates and schedules vendors and manage the facility team members. The ideal Facilities manager will understand plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and aquatic systems. The candidate will have an aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as acquiring bids, reporting, budgeting, etc. This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Executive Director. The office location is in Tulsa, OK, and work is on-site with some flexibility in hours. The candidate must be willing to be on-call during off-hours for emergency situations. The office dress is casual. The position is available immediately.
Responsibilities:
· Supervise all maintenance staff at JFT
· Create daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal and annual checklist for service and repair
· Create and implement a Preventive maintenance plan for all areas of facility
· Work in a hands-on capacity to repair and maintain the facility and grounds
· Work closely with all department heads to ensure their department’s maintenance needs are being met
· Maintain all JFT facilities and grounds
· Maintain alarm, HVAC, telephone systems
· Supervise all safety & security procedures and measures for the organization
· Supervise and coordinate all room/program set-ups
· Inventory and order all supply necessary for appropriate maintenance of the facility
· Hire all outside contractors as needed for proper maintenance of the facility and grounds
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Active City of Tulsa first Class Limited Engineer’s license and/or Boiler License (required)
· Proven experience as a maintenance manager or other managerial role
· Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, HVAC, boiler, aquatic, electrical systems, etc.
· Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
· Problem-solving and ability to work in teams
· Must possess high-level interpersonal skills and collaboratively communicating effectively with
a broad range of stakeholders, colleagues, and contractors.
· 5+ years of work-related experience; 2+ years in a management role
· Ability to work independently
