Job Summary
A member of the team who provides assistance with home management, environmental support and other supportive tasks in order to promote the client’s comfort and safety.
Job Responsibilities
- Adheres to the established client service plan in providing support services without direct personal care
- Assists with assigned home management tasks
- Performs light housekeeping, including personal laundry, meal prep and food shopping
- Performs other activities as directed by the Coordinator according to the plan of care
- Observes and understands safety and infection control issues
- Assists with maintenance of a safe physical environment
- Demonstrates sound judgement
- Provides assistance as a transport escort as needed
- Completes timesheets accurately
- Reliable and punctual
- Has positive rapport with clients and their families
