The salary range for this role is $45,000-$50,000.
What you’ll be responsible for:
You will be responsible for a variety of professional tasks within Young Leadership Division (YLD) including program and event planning and implementation, staffing lay leader committees, working on fundraising initiatives and other tasks associated with outreach to young adults within the Chicago Jewish community.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work with Board members, committee members, and other professional staff to plan and implement a variety of programs related to campaign and leadership development initiatives geared toward young adults within the Jewish community.
- Serve as the professional lead at YLD events and committee meetings as assigned.
- Identify and cultivate leaders from existing YLD programming, steward relationships, and solicit increased gifts for the JUF Annual Campaign.
- Promote the values of YLD/JUF through innovative outreach approaches, communication, and marketing.
- Partner with JUF’s Marketing and Communications department to formulate, manage, and implement a branding and marketing strategy for YLD including website, all email design, flyers, and materials.
- Support the YLD Director and Department as assigned.
- Support JUF campaign integration on an ongoing basis and provide general support for all JUF campaign events, phonothons, and special events.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution required
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Knowledgeable about and interest in the Jewish Community
- Ability to be a self-starter and handle multiple projects
- Proven ability to plan, implement and measure strategies and programs
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with multiple stakeholders (colleagues, volunteers, donors, community organizations)
- High level of energy and flexibility
- Availability for evening and/or weekend events/meetings
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite of Products
- Marketing experience is a plus
