Principal Responsibilities:
The accounts payable coordinator compiles and maintains accounts payable records and is responsible for the payment of goods and services purchased by the organization. HR Coordinator performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to payroll processing, compensation, benefits, and leave.

Accounts Payable Coordinator responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage the daily activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, fixed asset records, statutory accounting, etc.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Assist with annual Independent Financial Audit.
- Assist with annual budgeting process.
- Manage reconciliation of Accounts Payable.
- Produce & mail 1099 forms.
- Prepare investment schedules.
- Prepare journal entries for approval and postings.
- Maintain documentation and files according to financial and accounting procedures.
- Balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Audit work papers and reconciliations of accounts. Produce & mail 1099 forms. Budget data entry.
HR Coordinator Responsibilities
- As part of ADP's PEO, be liaison between the company and ADP
- Coordinates, reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and certifications.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implements and manages new hire on-boarding and orientation.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants and employees.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; works with ADP to review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Enters and edits employee information and payroll data into ADP software.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting required
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Payroll experience preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Accounting software
- The ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Ability to review work for accuracy and completeness.
- Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to perform the essential job duties of this position safely and successfully. Must be able to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors and personnel.
- Able to sit or stand at a desk while using computer and other office technology.
- Occasionally lift medium to heavy objects.
Salary:
$45,000 - $55,000
