Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance Department.

What You’ll Do
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for data entry, clerical support duties, and assisting the Billing Office Manager and Accounting Director with the day-to-day coordination and operation of the department.
Essential Job Duties
- Assist residents with billing information and questions
- Compiles and inputs data for IL, AL MC, HC; generates monthly bills.
- Inputs data for Medicare Part A & B claims and submits claims to insurances companies.
- Files insurance claims with third-party insurance companies (LTC insurances).
- Daily deposit and deposit entry into the billing system.
- Maintains residents in point-of-sale system
- Sends monthly collection letters
Other Duties
- Runs necessary reports; maintains backup and support documents.
- Files paperwork.
- Assists with audit preparation.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
- Distributes daily mail

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with accounts receivable.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiar with healthcare billing software.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 4 hours per day; must be able to stoop, bend, stretch, and squat to access files and various documentation; must be able to lift up to 20 pounds frequently; may be exposed to a constant noise level due to the printers located in the office.
