Summary Description Of Position
The Marketing Coordinator helps manage the Creative Services office, supports the team’s administrative needs, and assists in the production of print and digital marketing & advertising and films that spread the word and impactful work of JFEDLA. Reporting to the SVP Digital Media Solutions, this position manages calendars and helps organize expenses and budgets. The Marketing Coordinator is invited to bring creative input to JFEDLA’s ads, posters, videos, social media feeds, etc., while interfacing with the Creative Services team as well as stakeholders across the company’s other departments to keep projects moving, information flowing, and schedules on track.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- Assist with tasks related to production and design work for the larger marketing team (including digital, print, video, social media, event deliverables, audio and video assets)
- Organize and oversee logistics for video shoots
- Manage data entry and asset management relating to public relations, social media and digital assets, and assist with day-to-day tasks as needed
- Work directly with and support the Chief Creative Officer to organize day (manage calendar), submit expenses, and complete special assignments
- Monitor social media comments & messages and JFC Mailbox to route requests to appropriate staff
- Assist with research for public relations and new technology needs
- Create and manage purchase requisitions and orders; facilitate invoicing, billing, and ordering on behalf of the Creative Services team
- Oversee supplies and stock for the office and manage equipment maintenance
- Additional administrative duties as assigned
Main Line Phone Coverage
- Provide back-up phone coverage of the main telephone number of the Federation during normal business hours under the guidance of Human Resources.
- Be familiar with Federation’s departments and primary initiatives, and forward internal calls to appropriate departments in accordance with the established phone tree protocol.
- Provide assistance to callers seeking community resources by forwarding them to appropriate departments.
- Act as steward to callers, ensuring calls are transferred correctly, or taking messages to search for more information so that caller is responded to appropriately.
- Verify correct settings for the phone auto-attendant outside normal business hours and for holidays.
Additional Duties
Be available to supervisor for additional duties and assignments, as required, including assisting with the Campaign.
Education & Experience Required For Position
- 2-3 years of administrative or coordinator-level support at a creative agency
- Demonstrated ability in project management or asset management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized thinking
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions quickly
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
