PRIMARY FUNCTION:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Manager, Recruitment to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment across all departments, from initial sourcing to onboarding. You will also play a key role in managing and optimizing our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This position requires a strong understanding of recruitment best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to leverage technology to streamline hiring processes.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including:
- Job posting and screening resumes
- Conducting phone and in-person interviews
- Performing background checks and reference checks
- Extending job offers and negotiating compensation
- Onboarding new hires
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and provide expert guidance on recruitment best practices.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent across various channels.
- ATS Management:
- Administer and maintain the company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Configure and optimize ATS workflows to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Train hiring managers and recruiters on the effective use of the ATS.
- Identify and implement improvements to the ATS to enhance the recruitment process.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance the candidate experience.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and ATS technologies.
- Collaborate with P&C colleagues on various projects, such as employee engagement initiatives and culture programs.
- Generate reports and analyze data to track key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, candidate source).
- Represent the company at job fairs and other recruitment events.
Qualifications
Skills:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and data analysis.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR technologies.
- Experience with social media recruiting is a plus.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.

Work Experience:
- The ideal candidate has several years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in a distributed organization with a demonstrable, progressive increase in skills and experience.
- Proven experience managing and administering an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Management experience a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
Work Environment:
- ADL is a hybrid environment; This role may require 3 days in person.
Compensation:
- This position has a salary range of $71,000 to $85,000. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York, New York. Please note that actual salaries are commensurate with experience and reflect the budget for a given position, and since ADL has a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
