Job Summary
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager (DMM), this position is responsible for digital/social media and website content management.
Essential responsibilities include:
· Optimizes website for an ideal user experience, including site structure, navigation, page layouts, and user interaction elements
· Stays current with developments and generates new ideas to draw audience attention
· Systematically conduct website audits to ensure that our digital properties continue to reflect our mission, goals, and objectives in a cohesive and streamlined fashion
- Ability to use computer editing software programs, digital video effects programs, and other tools to develop short, impactful videos
· Oversees and directs multiple communication channels, including a monthly newspaper, digital/social media, and website content.
· Participates in all marketing, content, and staff meetings
· In coordination with the Marketing team, partner in developing blog content for the Federation’s various websites
· Day-to-day management of social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
· In coordination with DMM, implements online, social media, and mobile marketing strategy and content that aligns with the overall brand, marketing, and communications strategy and drives significant growth, awareness, and engagement
· Sets key performance indicators and monitors effective benchmarks for measuring digital marketing efforts. Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results and make recommendations for future campaigns
· Performs other duties as assigned
Key Competencies:
- 2-4 years’ experience working in website content management, and social media/digital marketing
· Strong working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript required
· Knowledge of managing SEO/SEM
· Effective writing, communication, and organizational skills
· Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
· Proficient technical skills
· A proactive, adaptable mindset with strong creative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Works collaboratively and respectfully in a team environment
- Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment

· Working knowledge of current trends in digital media planning
· Working knowledge of Hootsuite, MailChimp, JotForm, and Adobe Suite preferred
- Digital photography and video editing experience
· Proficiency in WordPress and Divi
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word)
· Proficiency with Adobe Suite design software, including InDesign and Photoshop, is a plus
- Knowledge of Jewish culture/holidays/Israel is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a similar field preferred
